Raksha Bandhan

It will soon be Raksha Bandhan on 11th August, 2022. Every year, this eve is celebrated during Sravana Poornima. We are all aware that Rakhi Poornima celebrates the bond between sisters and brothers, so we look forward to it. Despite the fact that this eve occurs every year, it is still eagerly awaited by everyone. The Hindu calendar considers the month of Sravana to be very auspicious. The celebrations of Rakhi give this month a prominent place in the calendar.

The 11th of August will be the day for celebrating Rakhi 2022. It falls during the month of Shravana on a full moon day, making it known as Rakhi Purnima. Rakhi represents the strong bond between siblings and celebrates their strong bond with a beautiful handcrafted item. Rakhi timing: when should I tie it?

According to Hindu rituals, the best time to perform Raksha Bandhan rituals is in the afternoon, during Aparahan. In the absence of this time, tie a rakhi during Pardosh time. It is also an ideal time to perform the Rakhi rituals on this festival.

Rakhi timing: When to avoid?

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the auspicious Rakhis should not be tied on the wrists of brothers during Bhadra. Conducting any auspicious or holy work during this time is considered a malignant act. Bhadra prevails in the first half of the Purnima day and therefore, people should wait for it to get over before indulging in Rakhi celebrations.

When is Rakhi in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026?
